From 17 to 20 September 2014, the Laboratory 167 / B Street Lecce with KiiO Candles were guests of “Kulturfabrik” during “Kufa’s Urban Art Festival” in Esch-Sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) organized by Art Square asbl, Institut Pierre Werner, l’École Polonaise du Luxembourg & Lycée Bel-Val.

“Kufa’s Urban Art Festival” was proposed, in fact, as the project gathering “artistic, contemporary and education”, with the aim of encouraging and supporting the revival of contemporary art and promoting the mobility and exchange between local and international contemporary artists.

Chekos’art from Lecce has captured the main facade of Kulturfabrik with a mural that is a tribute to Thierry Van Werveke, a Luxembourgish actor. He appeared in over 60 films and television shows between 1988 and 2009 and is one of the most emblematic and significant artist for luxembourgish culture.
